Hello! I'm Prithish, an aspiring software engineer driven by the fascinating interplay of data, design, and effective problem-solving. My academic journey is a unique blend: I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English, which enriches my analytical perspective, while simultaneously immersing myself in the technical realm through a Professional Certification in Software Engineering with a Data Science specialization.
This dual approach allows me to tackle challenges with both critical insight from literary studies and technical proficiency in Python, SQL, machine learning, and algorithm design. A practical application of collaborative filtering.
A recommendation engine developed to predict movie ratings for users, mirroring Netflix's content suggestion system. This project leverages Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), a powerful matrix factorization technique, to identify latent user preferences and item features from a large dataset, ultimately providing personalized movie suggestions.
A computer vision model to identify and locate objects.
This project implements a machine learning model capable of real-time object detection. By leveraging computer vision techniques and a pre-trained neural network, the system can process images or video streams to identify, classify, and draw bounding boxes around various objects. It demonstrates a practical application of ML in fields like automated surveillance and image analysis.
